Hey there! I’m Apoorva, a writer and editor. This is my newsletter where I write essays on food and culture and around food and culture, leaning into irreverence and abandon that’s only reserved for a plastic bag drifting through the wind. Not approved by your parents (definitely not by mine).

I originally started this newsletter as a sort of recipe digest (“cooking during quarantine” as I called it) and gradually, it morphed into an essay-thoughts-feelings-reported pieces newsletter.

What should I look forward to?

Free subscribers will receive essays on Tuesday. Paid subscribers will receive posts on Saturdays, in whatever format I feel like.

I’ve managed to keep this newsletter free since 2020 but it’s no longer financially viable for me to do so. If you’d like to support my work, do give paid subscriptions a thought.
