Hey there! I’m Apoorva, a writer and editor. This is my newsletter where I write essays on food. I originally started this newsletter as a sort of recipe digest (“cooking during quarantine” as I called it) and gradually, it morphed into an essay-thoughts-feelings-reported pieces newsletter.

What should I look forward to?

Free subscribers will receive essays on Tuesday. Paid subscribers will receive posts on Saturdays, whether that’s a conversation with someone working in food, essays on food and culture, recipes, recommendations on what to read/listen/watch, and even little comics on food.

I’ve managed to keep this newsletter free since 2020 but it’s no longer financially viable for me to do so. If you’d like to support my work—and it’d mean a lot to me if you did—do give paid subscriptions a thought.
